Ingredients

  1. 3 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 1½ teaspoons salt
  3. 1 teaspoon sugar (optional, but helps yeast)
  4. 1 packet (7 g) instant yeast
  5. 1 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients
    In a bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water
    Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead lightly

  4. Let it rise
    Cover and rest for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Bake
    • Shape dough and place on a baking tray
    • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 minutes
    • Bread is done when golden and sounds hollow when tapped
  6. Cool & enjoy
    Let cool slightly before slicing.
