Love pecan caramel clusters—they’re crunchy, sweet, and irresistible! Here’s a simple recipe to make your own Pecan Caramel Clusters at home.

🍯 Pecan Caramel Clusters

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecan halves

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • Optional: sea salt flakes for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Toast the pecans:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Spread pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes until fragrant. Let cool.

  2. Make the caramel:

    • In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

    • Add sugar and stir continuously until it melts and turns a deep amber color (about 5-7 minutes). Be careful not to burn it!

    • Remove from heat and slowly stir in the heavy cream (mixture will bubble).

    • Add vanilla extract and salt, stirring to combine.

  3. Combine:

    • Quickly stir toasted pecans into the caramel until evenly coated.

  4. Form clusters:

    • Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.

    • Optional: sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt flakes on each cluster for contrast.

  5. Cool:

    • Let clusters cool completely and harden (about 30 minutes to 1 hour) before serving.

Tips

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.

  • You can swap pecans for walnuts or almonds if you prefer.

  • For extra decadence, drizzle melted chocolate over the clusters once cooled.
