Baked cauliflower is a simple, tasty way to enjoy this versatile veggie—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and totally customizable with your favorite seasonings!

Here’s a basic recipe plus some flavor ideas:

🥦 Easy Baked Cauliflower

🕒 Prep: 10 min | Bake: 25–30 min

🍽️ Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or minced fresh garlic)

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, or red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Toss cauliflower: In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  3. Arrange on a baking sheet: Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a parchment-lined or lightly greased baking sheet.

  4. Bake: Roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and tender.

  5. Optional finishing touches: Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, or red pepper flakes before serving.

Flavor variations

  • Buffalo style: Toss with hot sauce and a bit of melted butter before baking.

  • Italian: Add dried Italian herbs and Parmesan cheese.
