Here’s a delicious recipe for Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins — moist, sweet, with just the right amount of chocolate in every bite. Perfect for breakfast or a snack!


🍌🍫 Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Makes: 12 muffins | Prep Time: 10 mins | Bake Time: 20–25 mins


🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (or brown sugar for extra moisture)

  • 1 large egg

  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted (or vegetable oil)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven & Prep Pan

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or grease well.

2. Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, sugar, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.

4. Combine Wet & Dry

  • Add dry ingredients to wet and mix gently until just combined.

  • Fold in chocolate chips. Avoid overmixing to keep muffins tender.

5. Fill Muffin Cups

  • Divide batter evenly among muffin cups, filling about ¾ full.

6. Bake

  • Bake 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  • Let cool in pan 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.


✨ Tips:

  • For extra banana flavor, sprinkle a few extra banana slices or walnuts on top before baking.

  • Use dark or milk chocolate chips for different flavors.

  • Freeze muffins in airtight bags for up to 3 months.
