Here’s a simple and delicious bowl of crab salad recipe you can try at home:


🦀 Crab Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation crab sticks, shredded)

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon red onion, finely diced

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Fresh dill or parsley, chopped (optional)

  • Lettuce or mixed greens (optional, for serving)

Optional Add-ins:

  • Diced cucumber or avocado

  • Sweet corn kernels

  • A dash of Old Bay seasoning


Instructions:

  1. Prep the Crab: If using imitation crab sticks, shred them by hand or chop them into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Mix Dressing: In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  3. Add Veggies: Stir in chopped celery and red onion.

  4. Combine: Fold in the crab meat gently, trying not to break it up too much.

  5. Chill: Let it chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.

  6. Serve: Scoop into a bowl over a bed of lettuce or enjoy as a filling in sandwiches, wraps, or on crackers.
