🌯 Classic Burrito
Ingredients (makes 2 large burritos):

2 large flour tortillas

1 cup cooked rice (white, brown, or cilantro-lime rice)

1 cup cooked beans (black beans, pinto beans, or refried beans)

1 cup cooked and seasoned protein (ground beef, shredded chicken, steak, or tofu)

1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)

1/2 cup salsa or pico de gallo

1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

1/4 cup chopped lettuce
-
1/4 cup diced tomatoes or avocado

Optional: sliced jalapeños, cilantro, lime wedges
Instructions:

Warm the tortillas: Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for about 20-30 seconds per side or microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel for 15 seconds.

Layer fillings: In the center of each tortilla, layer rice, beans, protein, cheese, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, and any other toppings you like.

Fold: Fold the sides over the filling, then roll from the bottom up to enclose everything tightly.

Optional – grill: Place the burrito seam side down on a skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes to seal and crisp the outside.

Serve: Cut in half and enjoy with extra salsa, guac, or hot sauce.
