🍪 Caramel Peanut Ritz Cracker Treats
Makes about 24 treats
🧾 Ingredients

48 Ritz crackers

½ cup (1 stick) butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup salted peanuts (roughly chopped)

1 cup mini marshmallows (optional, for extra chewiness)

½–1 cup chocolate chips (optional for drizzling or topping)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lay 24 Ritz crackers on the sheet.
2️⃣ Make the caramel

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Add brown sugar and stir until fully combined.

Bring to a gentle boil and cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Optional: For extra smooth caramel, add a splash of heavy cream (1–2 tbsp).
3️⃣ Add peanuts (& marshmallows if using)
Stir in:

chopped salted peanuts

mini marshmallows (optional)
Let everything melt and coat evenly.
4️⃣ Assemble the treats

Spoon caramel-peanut mixture onto each Ritz cracker.

Top with another Ritz cracker to make a sandwich OR leave them open-faced — both ways are great!
5️⃣ Add chocolate (optional but amazing!)
