🧀 Cheese Puff Bake (Easy & Crowd-Pleasing)

Ingredients

  • 1 bag cheese puffs (about 8–10 oz)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Colby-Jack, or a mix)
  • 1 cup milk or half-and-half
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Optional add-ins

  • Cooked bacon bits
  • Diced ham or sausage
  • Green onions
  • A pinch of garlic powder or paprika

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Grease an 8×8 baking dish.

2️⃣ Layer the base
Spread cheese puffs evenly in the dish.
Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over them.

3️⃣ Mix the custard
In a bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, salt, and pepper.

4️⃣ Assemble
Pour mixture evenly over cheese puffs.
Top with remaining shredded cheese (and any add-ins).

5️⃣ Bake
Bake uncovered 25–30 minutes, until puffed, golden, and set in the center.

6️⃣ Rest & serve
Let sit 5 minutes before serving (it firms up slightly).
