cheesy garlic breadsticks

Posted on October 11, 2025 by Admin

Absolutely — cheesy garlic breadsticks are ridiculously good and super easy to make. Here’s a quick recipe using pizza dough or store-bought dough:

🧄🧀 Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks

⭐ Ingredients:

  • 1 (12–16 oz) pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley (optional)

  • Salt to taste

  • Marinara or pizza sauce for dipping (optional)

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven
To 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Roll out the dough

    • Stretch or roll your pizza dough into a rectangle or circle about ¼-inch thick.

  3. Garlic butter base

    • Mix melted butter with garlic (or garlic powder).

    • Brush the mixture generously over the dough.

  4. Add cheese

    • Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the top.

    • Add Parmesan and optional Italian seasoning or parsley.

    • Lightly sprinkle with salt.

  5. Bake

    • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. Slice into breadsticks

    • Let cool slightly, then cut into strips using a pizza cutter.

  7. Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping (optional but recommended!).

💡 Tips:

  • Want a crispier bottom? Pre-bake the dough for 5 minutes before adding toppings.

  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for heat.

  • Use a blend of cheeses like provolone, fontina, or cheddar for variety.
