Ingredients (Serves 4)

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

1 ½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp Italian seasoning

3 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup chicken broth
-
½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or a mix of mozzarella & cheddar)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the chicken

Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
2. Sear

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp butter.

Add chicken and sear for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown (doesn’t have to be fully cooked yet).

Remove and set aside.
3. Make the garlic butter sauce

In the same pan, add remaining 1 tbsp butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to scrape up brown bits.

Let simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Add cheese & chicken

Stir in Parmesan cheese, then place chicken back into the skillet.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.

Cover the pan and simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes, until chicken is cooked through (165°F) and cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Serve
