🧀 Cheesy Sausage Hashbrown Bake

Serves: 8 | Prep Time: 15 mins | Bake Time: 45–50 mins


🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)

  • 1 (30 oz) bag frozen shredded hash browns, thawed

  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheddar blend)

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (optional for flavor boost)

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 8 large eggs

  • 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: chopped green onions or bell peppers


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Cook Sausage

  • In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned.

  • Add onion (and bell peppers, if using) and cook until soft.

  • Drain any excess grease.

3. Mix the Bake

  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Stir in hash browns, cooked sausage mixture, and cheeses.

  • Mix until well combined.

4. Bake

  • Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.

  • Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, or until set in the center and golden on top.

  • Let cool slightly before slicing.
