🌮 Cheesy Taco Dip
🍽️ Serves: 6–8

🛒 Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade, about 2 tbsp)

1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)

1 (15 oz) can refried beans (optional, for a thicker layer)

1 cup salsa
-
1/2 cup chopped green onions
-
1/2 cup chopped black olives (optional)
-
1/2 cup diced tomatoes

Tortilla chips, for serving
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Cook the beef:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.

Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water, simmer 2–3 minutes until well combined. Set aside.
2. Mix creamy layer:

In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
3. Assemble the dip:

Spread refried beans (if using) evenly in a 9×9-inch baking dish or similar.

Layer with the cream cheese mixture, then cooked seasoned beef.

Spread salsa evenly over the beef.

Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
4. Bake:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Add fresh toppings & serve:

Remove from oven and sprinkle with green onions, olives, and diced tomatoes.

Serve warm with tortilla chips.
