Cherry Delight

Cherry Delight is a classic no-bake dessert made with a buttery graham cracker crust, a creamy cheesecake-like filling, and a sweet-tart cherry pie topping. It’s easy to make, feeds a crowd, and is always a hit at potlucks or holiday dinners.


🍒✨ Cherry Delight (No-Bake Dessert)

🧾 Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

For the filling:

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed

For the topping:

  • 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling


🔪 Instructions:

1. Make the crust:

  • In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.

  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch or 9×13-inch dish (depending on how thick you like your layers).

  • Chill in the fridge for 15–30 minutes while preparing the filling.

2. Make the creamy filling:

  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.

  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla, and beat until well combined.

  • Fold in the whipped topping gently until smooth and creamy.

3. Assemble the dessert:

  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.

  • Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the top.

4. Chill:

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to set fully.

5. Serve:

  • Slice into squares and enjoy chilled. Optional: garnish with extra whipped topping or a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs.

  • Make it mini: Layer in individual cups for personal servings.

  • Try other toppings: Use blueberry, strawberry, or peach pie filling instead.

  • From-scratch cherry topping: Cook fresh or frozen cherries with sugar and cornstarch to make your own pie filling.
