🥐 Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Ingredients

(Makes 8 rolls)

  • 1 can (8-count) refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 1 ½ cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced (rotisserie chicken works great)

  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup (30 g) shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella/Monterey Jack)

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise or sour cream

  • 1 tbsp chopped green onion or chives (optional)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

  • Breadcrumbs or grated Parmesan, for topping (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven

  • Preheat to 375°F (190°C).

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.


2. Make the filling

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, mayo (or sour cream), garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  2. Fold in shredded chicken and green onions.

  3. Taste and adjust seasoning.


3. Fill the crescent rolls

  1. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.

  2. Place about 2 tablespoons of filling at the wide end of each triangle.

  3. Roll up gently toward the tip, tucking in the sides as you go.

  4. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.


4. Top and bake

  1. Brush the tops with melted butter.

  2. (Optional) Sprinkle with breadcrumbs or Parmesan for extra crunch.

  3. Bake 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.


5. Serve

Serve warm with:

  • Ranch dressing, honey mustard, or creamy garlic sauce for dipping.
