Absolutely! Here’s a classic Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe — chewy in the center, slightly crispy on the edges, and full of melty chocolate goodness. 🍪


🍪 Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yields: ~24 cookies
Prep Time: 15 min
Chill Time: Optional (30–60 min for thicker cookies)
Bake Time: 10–12 min
Total Time: ~30–60 min


🧂 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2¼ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans


🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. Cream the Butter & Sugars:

  • In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).

3. Add Eggs & Vanilla:

  • Mix in the eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla extract.

4. Add Dry Ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

  • Gradually add to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.

5. Fold in the Chocolate Chips:

  • Stir in the chocolate chips (and nuts, if using).

  • Optional: Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.

6. Scoop & Bake:

  • Scoop about 1½ tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spaced ~2 inches apart.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers look just set.

7. Cool:

  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.


🍽️ Tips for Perfection:

  • Want them extra gooey? Slightly underbake (9–10 minutes).

  • Sprinkle with flaky sea salt before baking for a gourmet touch.

  • Use a mix of milk, semi-sweet, and dark chocolate chips for depth.
