Here’s a classic, rich chocolate fudge recipe—smooth, creamy, and easy to make 🍫

🍫 Easy Chocolate Fudge (No Candy Thermometer)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz / 400 g) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

(Optional add-ins: chopped nuts, marshmallows, peanut butter swirl)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan
    • Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the base
    • In a saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter.
    • Stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Finish
    • Remove from heat.
    • Stir in vanilla and salt.
  4. Set
    • Pour into pan and smooth the top.
    • Refrigerate 2–3 hours until firm.
  5. Slice & serve
    • Cut into squares. Store chilled or at room temperature.

⭐ Tips for Perfect Fudge

  • Keep heat low to prevent grainy texture
  • Use good-quality chocolate for best flavor
  • Let it set fully before cutting

🔄 Variations

  • Old-fashioned fudge: I can share the stovetop sugar-and-milk version
  • 2-ingredient fudge: Just chocolate + condensed milk
  • Peanut butter fudge: Swap chocolate for peanut butter
  • Microwave version: Ready in 5 minutes

If you want one of these versions, just tell me 😄
