Condensed milk bread

Here’s a simple, soft condensed milk bread recipe—sweet, fluffy, and great for breakfast or snacks 🍞

Condensed Milk Bread (Easy Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk (not hot)
  • ⅓ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp butter (softened)

Instructions

  1. Activate yeast
    Mix warm milk and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix wet ingredients
    Add condensed milk and egg to the yeast mixture. Stir well.
  3. Add dry ingredients
    Add flour and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead
    Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add butter and knead until fully incorporated.
  5. First rise
    Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–1½ hours until doubled.
  6. Shape & second rise
    Shape into a loaf or rolls. Place in a greased pan, cover, and rise 30–45 minutes.
  7. Bake
    Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
  8. Optional glaze
    Brush warm bread with a little condensed milk or butter for extra softness.

Tips

  • For extra softness, don’t add too much flour—the dough should be slightly sticky.
  • You can add raisins or chocolate chips for a twist.
