🍝 Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

🛒 Ingredients:

12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta

2 tbsp olive oil

1 lb chicken breast, sliced into strips

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

1 small onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream
-
1 cup chicken broth
-
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

1 cup bell peppers (red, yellow, or green), sliced

1 tbsp butter

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions

1. Cook Pasta

Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Season & Cook Chicken

Toss chicken strips with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook chicken until browned and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. Sauté Veggies

In the same skillet, add butter.

Sauté onions, garlic, and bell peppers until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
4. Make Sauce

Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream.

Bring to a simmer and let it thicken slightly (about 3–5 minutes).

Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
5. Combine

Return cooked chicken to the skillet.

Add drained pasta. Toss everything together, coating the pasta with the creamy Cajun sauce.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve

Garnish with parsley or green onions. Serve warm!
