🧾 Ingredients (Serves 4):

🍤 For the Shrimp Skewers:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for color)

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (for crunch)

  • Optional: chopped cilantro or green onions for garnish

🥣 For the Tangy Lime Dip:

  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tsp lime zest

  • 1–2 tsp honey (to taste)

  • Pinch of salt and black pepper

  • Optional: dash of hot sauce or chili flakes for heat


🔪 Instructions:

1. Marinate the shrimp:

  • In a bowl, mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, olive oil, paprika, and pepper.

  • Add shrimp and toss to coat. Let marinate for 15–30 minutes in the fridge.

2. Skewer & coat:

  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20–30 minutes to prevent burning.

  • Thread 4–5 shrimp onto each skewer.

  • Press each side lightly into panko breadcrumbs to coat (for extra crispiness).

3. Cook:

Grill or Grill Pan:

  • Preheat to medium-high heat.

  • Grill shrimp skewers for 2–3 minutes per side, until shrimp are opaque and slightly charred.

Oven or Broiler:

  • Preheat broiler to high. Place skewers on a baking sheet lined with foil.

  • Broil for 4–5 minutes, flipping halfway, until shrimp are cooked through and breadcrumbs are golden.

Air Fryer:

  • Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway.


4. Make the Lime Dip:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together yogurt (or sour cream), lime juice, zest, honey, salt, and pepper.

  • Add hot sauce or chili flakes if desired for a little kick.

  • Chill until ready to serve.


🍽️ To Serve:

  • Arrange skewers on a platter, drizzle lightly with extra honey if desired.

  • Garnish with chopped cilantro, lime wedges, or sesame seeds.

  • Serve with the Tangy Lime Dip on the side.


📝 Tips:

  • Want more crisp? Toss the panko in a little oil and toast in a skillet before coating the shrimp.

  • Make it tropical: add pineapple chunks between shrimp on the skewers.

  • Use chili-garlic sauce instead of garlic + honey for a spicier glaze.
