1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk (or use thick coconut cream for richness)

2 cups shredded sweetened coconut (desiccated or fresh)

1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Mix ingredients:

In a medium saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, shredded coconut, and vanilla.

If using cornstarch, dissolve it in 2 tbsp of coconut milk or water and add to the pot.
