🎂🍌🥜 Elvis Presley Sheet Cake
Ingredients:
For the Cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 cups granulated sugar

¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tsp baking powder

1½ tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup buttermilk
-
½ cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup hot water
For the Peanut Butter Banana Frosting:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup creamy peanut butter
-
3 cups powdered sugar
-
¼ cup milk (more if needed)

1 ripe banana, mashed
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional Topping:

Sliced bananas

Chopped peanuts or peanut butter chips

Chocolate drizzle
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:

Preheat to 350°F (175°C).

Grease and flour a 9×13-inch sheet pan.
2. Make the Cake:

In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla; beat until smooth.

Stir in hot water (batter will be thin).

Pour into prepared pan and bake 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool completely.
3. Prepare Frosting:

Beat butter and peanut butter until smooth.

Add mashed banana and vanilla, mix well.

Gradually add powdered sugar alternating with milk until frosting is creamy and spreadable.
4. Frost the Cake:

Spread frosting evenly over cooled cake.

Top with sliced bananas, peanuts, or drizzle chocolate if desired.
Tips:

Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.

This cake tastes even better chilled for a few hours.
