🍳 Easy Fried Noodles (Stir-Fried Style)

🧂 Ingredients
Base:

8 oz (225 g) egg noodles or lo mein noodles (cooked & drained)
You can also use spaghetti, ramen noodles, or rice noodles.
Sauce (adjust to taste):

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce (adds deep umami flavor)

1 tsp sesame oil
-
½ tsp sugar
-
Optional: 1 tsp chili paste or sriracha for heat
Aromatics & Stir-Fry:

2 tbsp oil (vegetable or peanut oil)

2–3 cloves garlic, minced
-
½ small onion, sliced
-
1 cup vegetables (shredded cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, bean sprouts, etc.)
Optional Add-ins:

Scrambled egg
-
Sliced chicken, shrimp, or tofu (pre-cooked or quickly stir-fried before adding noodles)

Green onions, chopped (for topping)
👨🍳 Instructions

Cook the noodles
Cook according to package instructions, rinse with cold water, and drain. Toss with a bit of oil to prevent sticking. -
Prepare the sauce
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and chili paste (if using). Set aside. -
Heat the wok or pan
Add oil over high heat. Once hot, add garlic and onion — stir-fry for ~30 seconds until fragrant. -
Add veggies and/or protein
Stir-fry until just tender (2–3 min). If using pre-cooked meat, toss it in here. -
Add noodles and sauce
Add noodles to the pan. Pour sauce over top and toss everything together using tongs or chopsticks. Stir-fry 2–4 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy in spots. -
Finish & serve
Top with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or a drizzle of extra chili oil if you like.
