🍚 Classic Fried Rice Recipe
Ingredients:

3 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old, cold rice)

2 tbsp vegetable oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 small onion, finely chopped

2-3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup mixed veggies (carrots, peas, corn, bell peppers — fresh or frozen)

3 green onions, chopped (white and green parts separated)

2-3 tbsp soy sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional, adds umami)

1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional protein: cooked shrimp, chicken, pork, or tofu
Instructions:

Prepare the eggs:

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Pour in the beaten eggs, scramble until just cooked, then remove and set aside.

Cook veggies and aromatics:

Add the remaining 1 tbsp oil to the pan.

Sauté onion (white parts of green onions too) and garlic until fragrant (about 2 minutes).

Add mixed veggies and cook until tender (about 3-4 minutes).

Break up clumps of cold rice and add it to the pan.
