Ginger water

Ginger water is a refreshing and healthful drink made by infusing fresh ginger in water. It’s known for its digestive benefits, anti-inflammatory properties, and warming, spicy flavor. Perfect for hydration with a zing!


🌿 Simple Ginger Water Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled and thinly sliced or grated

  • 4 cups water

  • Optional: juice of half a lemon, honey or maple syrup to taste


Instructions:

  1. Boil water

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.

  1. Add ginger

  • Add sliced or grated ginger to the boiling water.

  1. Simmer

  • Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes for a strong infusion.

  1. Strain

  • Strain out the ginger pieces.

  1. Flavor (optional)

  • Stir in lemon juice and sweetener if desired.

  1. Serve

  • Enjoy warm or chilled. You can also add ice cubes and fresh mint for a refreshing summer drink.
