Here’s a classic Ham Salad recipe — creamy, tangy, and perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or lettuce wraps. It’s a great way to use up leftover ham, too.

🥪 Classic Ham Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked ham, finely chopped or ground

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise (adjust to taste)

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard or Dijon mustard

  • 2–3 tbsp sweet pickle relish (or dill relish for a tangier version)

  • 1–2 stalks celery, finely chopped (optional, for crunch)

  • 1–2 tbsp red onion or green onions, finely minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Dash of paprika or a splash of hot sauce (optional)

🔪 Instructions:

  1. Chop or grind ham: Use a food processor for a smoother texture or finely dice by hand for a chunkier version.

  2. Mix ingredients: In a bowl, combine ham, mayo, mustard, relish, celery, and onion. Stir until well mixed.

  3. Season: Taste and adjust with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings (paprika or hot sauce).

  4. Chill: For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

🥄 Serving Ideas:

  • Sandwiches on white, rye, or croissants

  • Crackers or toast for a snack or appetizer

  • Lettuce cups for a low-carb option

  • Stuffed tomatoes or hard-boiled eggs for a creative twist

🧊 Storage:

Keeps well in the fridge for up to 3–4 days in a sealed container.
