homemade Baileys Irish Cream

Posted on October 16, 2025 by Admin

Here’s a creamy, delicious, and easy Homemade Baileys Irish Cream recipe — perfect for sipping over ice, adding to coffee, or giving as a gift. It takes just 5 minutes to make and tastes even better than store-bought!

🥃 Homemade Baileys Irish Cream

🍽 Makes: ~3 cups (24 oz)

⏱ Time: 5 minutes

🧊 Lasts: Up to 2 weeks in the fridge

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Irish whiskey (like Jameson)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 tsp instant coffee (or 1 shot of espresso, cooled)

  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup (like Hershey’s)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Optional: 1 tsp almond extract for a nutty hint

  • Optional: pinch of cocoa powder or cinnamon

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Blend or whisk:

    • In a blender (or bowl with whisk), combine whiskey, cream, condensed milk, coffee, chocolate syrup, and vanilla.

    • Blend for 20–30 seconds until smooth and creamy.

  2. Taste and adjust:

    • Add more coffee or chocolate if desired.

    • If you like it thicker, add a bit more cream.

  3. Bottle it:

    • Pour into a clean glass bottle or jar.

    • Seal and refrigerate. Shake gently before each use.

✅ Tips:

  • Keeps for up to 2 weeks in the fridge — but it rarely lasts that long!

  • Always shake well before serving — separation is normal.

  • Delicious over ice, in coffee, or in dessert recipes (like brownies or tiramisu).

  • For gifting, pour into small swing-top bottles and label.
