Posted on October 15, 2025 by Admin

Here’s a super easy and delicious side dish recipe for Honey Butter Skillet Corn — it’s creamy, sweet, buttery, and made in under 15 minutes! Perfect for holidays, BBQs, or any weeknight dinner.

🌽 Honey Butter Skillet Corn

🍴 Servings: 4–6

⏲️ Ready in: 15 minutes

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 (16 oz) bag frozen corn, no need to thaw (or 3 cups fresh or canned, drained)

  • 2 ounces cream cheese (about 1/4 block)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Melt butter and honey in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the corn and stir to coat. Cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.

  3. Add the cream cheese and stir until fully melted and the mixture becomes creamy.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook 2–3 more minutes, stirring gently.

  5. Serve warm. Garnish with a sprinkle of chopped parsley, chives, or a little extra honey drizzle if desired.

💡 Tips & Variations:

  • Spice it up: Add a pinch of cayenne or smoked paprika.

  • Make it cheesier: Stir in some shredded cheddar or parmesan.

  • Add-ins: Cook with diced jalapeños or green onions for extra flavor.

  • Use fresh corn: Cut kernels off 4–5 ears of fresh corn for a seasonal twist.

This dish is great served with grilled meats, southern-style meals, or as part of a Thanksgiving spread. Let me know if you want a dairy-free or vegan version!
