Posted on October 18, 2025October 20, 2025 by Admin

Oh yes — Honey Butter Skillet Corn is a simple, sweet, buttery side that’s pure comfort on a plate. Perfect for dinner tables, especially with BBQ or Southern-style dishes! 🌽🍯🧈

🍯 Honey Butter Skillet Corn

📝 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels (about 4 ears fresh)

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • Optional: pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne pepper for a little kick

  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or chives

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Heat the butter:

    • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it starts to bubble and smell nutty (about 1–2 minutes).

  2. Cook the corn:

    • Add the corn kernels to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until they’re heated through and start to get a little golden (about 5–7 minutes).

  3. Add honey and season:

    • Drizzle the honey over the corn and stir well to coat.

    • Season with salt, pepper, and any optional spices.

    • Cook another 2 minutes, letting the honey caramelize slightly with the corn.

  4. Serve:

    • Transfer to a serving bowl or serve right from the skillet.

    • Garnish with fresh herbs if you like.

🍽️ Tips

  • For extra creaminess, stir in a tablespoon of cream cheese or heavy cream at the end.

  • Add a squeeze of lime juice for a fresh tang.

  • Mix in some bacon bits or diced jalapeños for a smoky or spicy twist.
