Ohhh yes 😍 Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli is that perfect sweet-savory, quick-weeknight kind of meal. One pan, big flavor.
🍯🧄 Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli
Ingredients (serves 3–4)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 12 oz smoked sausage (Andouille or kielbasa), sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Honey Garlic Sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or rice vinegar
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, but 🔥)
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (optional, for thicker sauce)
Instructions
1. Sauté the sausage
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add sausage slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
2. Cook the broccoli
Add remaining oil. Toss in broccoli with a pinch of salt.
Sauté 3–4 minutes until bright green and just tender. Remove and set aside.
3. Shrimp time
Add shrimp to the pan. Season lightly with salt & pepper.
Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Don’t overcook.
4. Make it saucy
Lower heat. Add honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
Stir and simmer 1–2 minutes.
(Add cornstarch slurry now if you want it thicker.)
5. Bring it together
Return sausage and broccoli to the pan. Toss everything until coated and glossy.
Serve it with
- Steamed rice or fried rice
- Noodles
- Cauliflower rice (low-carb)
- Or straight from the skillet (no judgment)
Pro tips
- Pat shrimp dry before cooking for better sear
- Swap broccoli for green beans or snap peas if you want
- Finish with sesame seeds or green onions for extra pop
If you want, I can turn this into a sheet-pan version, a spicy Cajun twist, or a low-carb meal-prep version that reheats beautifully.
