I found these little balls in my bed and almost had a heart attack. I’ll tell you what it was.

Whoa 😳—that sounds alarming! Little mysterious balls in your bed can definitely make anyone panic. I’m curious—what were they?

While you tell me, here are a few common possibilities people find in their beds:

  1. Lint or fabric balls – tiny fibers that clump up from sheets, blankets, or clothing.
  2. Food crumbs or sugar balls – sometimes snacks or cereal can leave small round bits.
  3. Fecal pellets from insects – bedbugs, carpet beetles, or other pests can leave tiny dark pellets.
  4. Beads or small craft items – if you’ve done any DIY projects, kids’ toys, or jewelry, they can roll into bedding.
  5. Pet-related pellets – some pets shed tiny clumps of fur or hairballs.

Once you tell me what it actually was, I can also give tips on how to check your bed for pests or prevent it from happening again.

What did you find?
