Here’s a heavenly Cream Cheese–Stuffed Banana Bread 🍌🍞 — soft, moist, and swirled with a creamy cheesecake-like filling in the middle. It’s perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a cozy coffee companion!


🍌 Cream Cheese–Stuffed Banana Bread

Serves: 8–10

Bake Time: 60–70 minutes


🍌 Ingredients

For the Banana Bread:

  • 2–3 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional, but recommended)

For the Cream Cheese Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 egg

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract


🥣 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:

    • Set to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. Make the banana bread batter:

    • In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

    • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

    • Combine wet and dry ingredients; stir until just mixed (don’t overmix).

  3. Prepare the cream cheese filling:

    • Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.

  4. Assemble the loaf:

    • Pour half the banana batter into the loaf pan.

    • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the top.

    • Add the remaining banana batter and smooth the surface.

  5. Bake:

    • Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the banana portion comes out clean.

    • If the top browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil during the last 15 minutes.

  6. Cool:

    • Let the loaf cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
