🥖 Melt-in-Your-Mouth 2-Ingredient Biscuits

Ingredients (makes ~8 biscuits)

  • 2 cups self-rising flour

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or full-fat whipping cream)

Optional add-ins: pinch of salt, herbs, or a little cheese for flavor


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Mix the dough

    • In a bowl, combine flour and cream until it forms a soft, sticky dough.

    • Don’t overmix—just enough to combine.

  3. Shape the biscuits

    • Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface.

    • Pat to about 1/2–3/4 inch thick.

    • Cut into rounds with a cookie cutter or glass.

  4. Bake

    • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

    • Bake 12–15 minutes, until lightly golden on top.

  5. Serve warm

    • Best fresh from the oven with butter, honey, or jam.


Tips for Extra Soft Biscuits

  • Use cold cream for a slightly flakier texture.

  • Don’t overwork the dough—too much kneading makes them dense.

  • Brush tops with a little extra cream for a golden shine.
