🍫 No-Bake Butterfinger Balls Recipe
📝 Ingredients:
-
1 cup creamy peanut butter
-
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
-
1 cup crushed Butterfinger bars (about 3-4 fun-size bars or 2 full-size bars)
-
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
-
1 ½ cups chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
-
1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening (for smoother chocolate coating)
👩🍳 Instructions:
-
Mix the base:
-
In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, crushed Butterfinger, and vanilla extract (if using) until well combined. It should form a thick, dough-like consistency.
-
-
Shape the balls:
-
Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch in size).
-
Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate.
-
Freeze or refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until firm.
-
-
Melt the chocolate:
-
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
-
-
Dip the balls:
-
Using a fork or toothpick, dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate and coat evenly.
-
Let excess chocolate drip off before placing them back on the parchment.
-
-
Chill again:
-
Refrigerate until the chocolate is set (about 20 minutes).
-
-
Optional garnish:
-
Drizzle with extra melted chocolate or sprinkle a little more crushed Butterfinger on top before the coating sets.
-
🧊 Storage:
-
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to 2 months.
