  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 80 g powdered sugar
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Optional add-ins (very common):

  • Chopped walnuts or hazelnuts
  • Dried fruit
  • Shredded coconut

🥣 Instructions

1. Break the biscuits

Roughly crush biscuits into bite-size pieces (not crumbs). Set aside.


2. Make the chocolate mixture

  • Melt butter and chocolate together over low heat.
  • Stir in cocoa powder, sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt.
  • Mix until smooth and glossy.

3. Combine

  • Add crushed biscuits (and any extras).
  • Stir until everything is well coated.

4. Shape

  • Line a loaf pan with baking paper or shape into a log using plastic wrap.
  • Press mixture firmly to remove air pockets.

5. Chill

  • Refrigerate 2–3 hours until firm.
  • Slice and serve cold.
