Yes! 🎉 No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls (also known as Buckeyes) are a classic, easy treat that combines creamy peanut butter with sweet chocolate. Perfect for holidays, gifting, or whenever you’re craving a little something indulgent — no oven required!

🍫🥜 No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (not natural style)

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 cups powdered sugar (you may not need all of it)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening (optional, for smooth dipping)

Instructions:

1. Make the Peanut Butter Mixture:

  • In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter and softened butter until smooth.

  • Add vanilla (if using), then gradually mix in powdered sugar until a firm dough forms.

  • It should be stiff enough to roll into balls without sticking.

2. Shape:

  • Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper.

  • Chill in the fridge or freezer for 20–30 minutes to firm up.

3. Melt the Chocolate:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

4. Dip:

  • Using a fork or toothpick, dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, covering completely or partially (for that classic “Buckeye” look, leave the tops bare).

  • Let excess chocolate drip off, then place back on the parchment-lined tray.

5. Set:

  • Chill in the fridge for 20–30 minutes, or until chocolate is set.

🧊 Storage:

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks

  • Or freeze for up to 3 months

✨ Variations:

  • Mix in crushed graham crackers or Rice Krispies for crunch.

  • Swap in almond butter or sunflower seed butter for allergies.

  • Add a sprinkle of sea salt on top before the chocolate sets.
