Here’s a super easy and delicious No-Bake Crunch Bar recipe — perfect when you want something sweet, crispy, and chocolatey without turning on the oven 🍫✨


🍫 No-Bake Chocolate Crunch Bars

Makes: about 16 bars
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: 1 hour


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk/dark chocolate, your choice)

  • ½ cup peanut butter (or almond/sunflower butter for nut-free option)

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil or butter

  • 2 cups crisp rice cereal (like Rice Krispies)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • Pinch of salt (optional, enhances flavor)


Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate mixture:
    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and coconut oil.
    Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring each time, until smooth (about 1½ minutes total).
    Or melt gently in a saucepan over low heat.

  2. Add flavorings:
    Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, if using.

  3. Mix in the crunch:
    Add the crisp rice cereal to the melted chocolate mixture. Stir gently until the cereal is evenly coated.

  4. Spread and shape:
    Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper. Pour the mixture in and spread it evenly, pressing down lightly to compact it.

  5. Chill:
    Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.

  6. Cut and enjoy:
    Lift out the parchment paper and cut into bars or squares.


Storage

  • Store in an airtight container:

    • Fridge: up to 1 week

    • Freezer: up to 2 months (they taste amazing cold!)


Optional Variations

  • 🍯 Add-ins: crushed pretzels, mini marshmallows, or chopped nuts.

  • 🥥 Flavor twist: sprinkle shredded coconut on top before chilling.

  • 🍫 Layered version: make a bottom layer with chocolate and a top layer with white chocolate for a “marbled” look.
