One Pan Sausage, Green Beans, and Potatoes

Posted on November 6, 2025 by Admin
Here’s a simple, hearty recipe for One-Pan Sausage, Green Beans, and Potatoes — an easy all-in-one dinner that’s flavorful, filling, and needs almost no cleanup.

🧾 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 1 lb (450 g) smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced into ½-inch rounds

  • 1 lb (450 g) baby potatoes (or 3–4 medium potatoes), cut into chunks

  • 12 oz (≈340 g) fresh green beans, trimmed

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp dried thyme (or Italian seasoning)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, or a squeeze of lemon for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

2. Prep ingredients

Place the potatoes, sausage slices, and green beans on the sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle over the seasonings (garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper).

3. Toss

Use your hands or tongs to toss everything so the sausage and veggies are evenly coated with oil and seasoning.

4. Bake

Spread into a single layer. Bake for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until:

  • The potatoes are fork-tender,

  • The green beans are slightly crisp and browned on the edges,

  • The sausage is sizzling and caramelized.

5. Finish & serve

Remove from oven. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, Parmesan, or a squeeze of lemon juice if desired. Serve hot — it’s great on its own or with crusty bread.

✅ Tips & Variations

  • For extra flavor: Toss potatoes with a little Dijon mustard or drizzle with melted butter before roasting.

  • No oven? You can cook it on the stovetop: first brown the sausage, then add potatoes (cover for 10 min), then stir in green beans.

  • Add-ins: Bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, or mushrooms work well too.

  • Protein swaps: Use chicken sausage, turkey sausage, or even cubed chicken breast.

  • Desi twist: Add a pinch of red chili flakes, cumin, or garam masala for a spiced version.

Would you like me to give you a stovetop version of this (no oven required) or convert the ingredients into metric + Pakistani pantry substitutes (e.g., local sausages, beans, spices)?
