Peach cobbler with canned peaches

Posted on October 22, 2025 by Admin

Absolutely! 🍑✨ Peach Cobbler with Canned Peaches is one of the easiest, most comforting desserts you can make — sweet, syrupy peaches with a buttery, golden topping. And the best part? No peeling or pitting required!

🍑🥄 Easy Peach Cobbler (with Canned Peaches)

Ingredients:

  • 1 large can (29 oz) sliced peaches in syrup (don’t drain)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup granulated sugar (split: ½ cup for batter, ½ cup for topping)

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 1 cup milk

  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional, but recommended)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

  • Set to 350°F (175°C).

2. Melt the Butter:

  • Place butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Put the dish in the oven for a few minutes until the butter melts. Remove carefully.

3. Make the Batter:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, ½ cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  • Stir in milk and vanilla (if using) to form a smooth batter.

4. Assemble the Cobbler:

  • Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter — do not stir.

  • Spoon the peaches and their syrup evenly over the top — again, do not stir.

  • Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup sugar and cinnamon over everything.

5. Bake:

  • Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

6. Cool & Serve:

  • Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

🔄 Variations:

  • Add berries like raspberries or blueberries with the peaches.

  • Use peach pie filling if you prefer a thicker fruit layer.

  • Want a shortcut? Use a box cake mix topping instead of homemade batter.
