Peanut Butter Cookies

Posted on February 8, 2026 by Admin

Ahh, peanut butter cookies 🥜🍪 — classic, cozy, and impossible to eat just one. Here’s a foolproof recipe with that perfect balance: crispy edges, soft centers.

🥜 Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar (or ½ cup white + ½ cup brown for extra softness)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt

(That’s it — no flour needed!)

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Mix dough
In a bowl, mix peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda, and salt until smooth.

3️⃣ Shape
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.

4️⃣ Fork crisscross
Press each ball with a fork to make the classic crisscross pattern.

5️⃣ Bake
Bake 8–10 minutes until edges are set but centers look slightly soft.

6️⃣ Cool
Let cookies cool on the pan 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.

Tips for Perfect Cookies

  • Slightly underbake for soft centers
  • Use creamy peanut butter (natural works but stir well)
  • For thicker cookies, chill dough 20 minutes

Easy Variations

  • Peanut butter & chocolate chip
  • Drizzle with melted chocolate
  • Add chopped peanuts for crunch
  • Roll in sugar before baking for extra sparkle

If you want, I can also give:

  • Old-fashioned crunchy PB cookies
  • 3-ingredient emergency cookies
  • Soft bakery-style version

Just tell me 😄
