🌿 Pineapple Cheese Ball

Ingredients:

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

  • 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, drained well

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion (optional, or use green onion for milder flavor)

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (plus extra for coating)

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)


Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients:

    • Drain the crushed pineapple thoroughly — press out extra juice with paper towels or a fine sieve so the mixture isn’t watery.

  2. Mix Everything:

    • In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, pineapple, bell pepper, onion, chopped pecans, salt, and garlic powder (if using).

    • Mix well until smooth and evenly blended.

  3. Shape:

    • Form the mixture into a ball (or two smaller ones).

    • Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
