Here’s a foolproof recipe for crispy, seasoned Potato Wedges — golden on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and full of flavor. They make a perfect side dish, snack, or appetizer (especially with your favorite dip). 🥔✨


🥔 Crispy Potato Wedges

Serves: 4 | Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 35–40 mins (oven) or ~20 mins (air fryer)


🛒 Ingredients:

  • 3–4 medium russet potatoes (or Yukon golds), scrubbed

  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: ½ tsp dried oregano, thyme, or chili flakes

  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley or Parmesan cheese


🔥 Oven Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat to 425°F (220°C).

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Prep Potatoes

  • Cut each potato into 8 wedges:
    Slice in half lengthwise, then each half into 4 wedges.

  • Soak wedges in cold water for 15–30 minutes (removes starch for crispier results).

  • Drain and pat very dry with a towel.

3. Season

  • Toss wedges in a bowl with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Make sure all pieces are well coated.

4. Bake

  • Arrange in a single layer, cut-side down, on the baking sheet.

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • Bake until golden and crispy outside, fork-tender inside.


💨 Air Fryer Method:

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  • Air fry in batches for 18–22 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy.


🍽️ Serve With:

  • Ketchup, garlic aioli, ranch, cheese sauce, or sweet chili sauce

  • Sprinkle fresh herbs, lemon zest, or Parmesan just before serving
