  • 1 small egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    • Preheat to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Puff Pastry
    • Roll out the puff pastry sheet slightly on a floured surface.
    • Cut into squares or rectangles (about 2×2 inches).
  3. Add Filling
    • Place a little cheese in the center of each square.
    • Sprinkle with herbs and garlic if using.
    • Optionally, add a small piece of ham or prosciutto.
  4. Fold or Shape
    • Fold squares into triangles or rectangles, sealing the edges by pressing with a fork.
    • Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  5. Bake
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and puffed.
    • Let cool slightly before serving.
