Pumpkin Dog Treats

Posted on October 20, 2025 by Admin
Oh, awesome! Here’s a simple, healthy recipe for Pumpkin Dog Treats your furry friend will love. Pumpkin is great for dogs—it’s full of fiber and vitamins and helps with digestion.

🎃🐶 Pumpkin Dog Treats

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (plain canned pumpkin, NOT pumpkin pie filling)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for sensitive pups)

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional, safe in small amounts)

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter (make sure it doesn’t contain xylitol — toxic to dogs!)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, eggs, and peanut butter.

  3. Add dry ingredients: Gradually stir in flour and cinnamon until it forms a dough.

  4. Roll out dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.

  5. Cut shapes: Use cookie cutters or cut into small squares.

  6. Bake: Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes or until firm.

  7. Cool completely before giving to your pup.

Storage:

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer freshness.
