Ohhh yeah—Ranch Oyster Crackers are dangerously snackable. One bowl turns into “where did they all go?” real fast 😄
Classic Ranch Oyster Crackers
Ingredients
- 1 (10 oz) bag oyster crackers
- ½ cup vegetable oil (or olive oil for milder flavor)
- 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 tsp dried dill
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼–½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Mix the seasoning oil
In a small bowl, whisk together oil, ranch mix, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne. - Coat the crackers
Place oyster crackers in a large bowl or zip-top bag.
Pour seasoning over crackers and gently toss or shake until evenly coated. - Bake (or no-bake option below)
Spread crackers on a baking sheet.
Bake at 250°F (120°C) for 15–20 minutes, stirring once halfway.
Cool completely—they crisp up as they cool.
No-bake method (old-school favorite)
- After coating, let crackers sit in a sealed container
- Shake every 5–10 minutes for about 30 minutes
- Done when dry and evenly seasoned
Flavor tweaks
- Extra ranchy: add 1–2 tbsp powdered ranch dip mix
- Cheesy: sprinkle ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan before baking
- Spicy: add crushed red pepper or extra cayenne
- Buttery: swap half the oil for melted butter
