Ranch Oyster Crackers

Posted on February 7, 2026 by Admin

Ohhh yeah—Ranch Oyster Crackers are dangerously snackable. One bowl turns into “where did they all go?” real fast 😄

Classic Ranch Oyster Crackers

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) bag oyster crackers
  • ½ cup vegetable oil (or olive oil for milder flavor)
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼–½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Mix the seasoning oil
In a small bowl, whisk together oil, ranch mix, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne.
  2. Coat the crackers
Place oyster crackers in a large bowl or zip-top bag.
Pour seasoning over crackers and gently toss or shake until evenly coated.
  3. Bake (or no-bake option below)
Spread crackers on a baking sheet.
Bake at 250°F (120°C) for 15–20 minutes, stirring once halfway.
Cool completely—they crisp up as they cool.

No-bake method (old-school favorite)

  • After coating, let crackers sit in a sealed container
  • Shake every 5–10 minutes for about 30 minutes
  • Done when dry and evenly seasoned

Flavor tweaks

  • Extra ranchy: add 1–2 tbsp powdered ranch dip mix
  • Cheesy: sprinkle ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan before baking
  • Spicy: add crushed red pepper or extra cayenne
  • Buttery: swap half the oil for melted butter

Perfect for game day, soup nights, or “I just need something crunchy.” Want a cheddar ranch, buffalo, or everything bagel version next? 🥨✨
