Sausage Crescent Rolls

Posted on October 19, 2025November 12, 2025 by Admin

Yes! Sausage Crescent Rolls are an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer or breakfast bite — flaky, golden crescents wrapped around savory sausage and cheesy goodness. Whether you’re making them for brunch, game day, or a snack, they disappear fast!

🥐 Sausage Crescent Rolls

Makes: 16 rolls | Prep Time: 10 mins | Cook Time: 15–18 mins

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (mild, spicy, or maple — your choice)

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or pepper jack for a kick)

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count each)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Cook the Sausage

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbly.

  • Drain excess grease and let it cool slightly.

2. Mix the Filling

  • In a bowl, combine cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheddar. Mix until fully combined.

3. Assemble the Rolls

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.

  • Place a spoonful (1–2 tablespoons) of the sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle.

  • Roll up toward the narrow end, like a crescent.

4. Bake

  • Place rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.

5. Serve

  • Best served warm! Perfect plain or with dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or spicy ketchup.

🔄 Variations:

  • Add chopped green onions, jalapeños, or a dash of hot sauce to the filling.

  • Use crescent roll sheets (instead of triangles) and slice into pinwheels.

  • Substitute sausage with bacon or ham if desired.
