Here’s a reliable, super tender classic that doesn’t dry out.
Slow Cooker Pork Chops
Ingredients (4 servings)
- 4 bone-in pork chops (¾–1 inch thick is ideal)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for searing – optional but recommended)
- 1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 small onion, sliced
- Optional: 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce
Instructions
- Season & sear (best flavor)
Season pork chops with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
Sear in a hot skillet with oil, 2–3 minutes per side until golden. - Layer the slow cooker
Place sliced onions in the bottom.
Add pork chops on top. - Make the sauce
Whisk soup, broth, and Worcestershire (if using).
Pour over pork chops. - Cook low & slow
- LOW: 6–7 hours
- HIGH: 3–4 hours
Chops should be fork-tender.
- Serve
Spoon gravy over pork chops and enjoy.
How to keep them juicy
- Use bone-in chops if possible
- Don’t overcook on HIGH unless they’re thick
- Add 2–3 tbsp sour cream at the end for extra richness
