🧂 Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzels (mini twists or sticks)

  • 2 cups chex cereal (rice or corn)

  • 1 cup roasted nuts (almonds, peanuts, cashews)

  • ½ cup M&M’s or chocolate chips

  • ¼ cup butter, melted

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for a sweet twist)

  • ½ teaspoon salt


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven

    • Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix dry ingredients

    • In a large bowl, combine pretzels, Chex cereal, and nuts.

  3. Make the coating

    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.

  4. Combine & bake

    • Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mix and stir until well coated.

    • Spread evenly on the baking sheet. Bake 10–15 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden and fragrant.

  5. Cool & add chocolate

    • Let the mix cool completely. Stir in M&M’s or chocolate chips.

  6. Serve

    • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.


🍴 Tips & Variations

  • Savory version: Skip the sugar and cinnamon. Add garlic powder, smoked paprika, or chili powder.

  • Nut-free: Use extra pretzels and cereal, or add roasted chickpeas for crunch.

  • Make it festive: Add holiday-colored M&M’s or candy-coated chocolates for seasonal fun.
