🍮 Sweet Alabama Pecan Cake Recipe

Ingredients
For the Cake:

For the Pecan Topping / Glaze:

¼ cup milk or cream

1 ½ cups chopped pecans, toasted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Prepare the cake:

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.

Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
