three baked potatoes

Posted on October 22, 2025 by Admin

Simple, classic, and always satisfying — baked potatoes are the perfect side (or even a full meal when loaded up). 🥔✨

Here’s how to make three perfectly baked potatoes with crisp skins and fluffy insides every time:

🥔 Perfect Oven-Baked Potatoes (3 servings)

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 3 medium or large russet potatoes (best for baking)

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)

  • Salt (coarse or kosher preferred)

  • Optional: pepper, garlic powder, or herbs for extra flavor

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Heat oven to 425°F (220°C).

2. Prep the Potatoes:

  • Scrub potatoes clean and pat dry.

  • Pierce each potato 4–5 times with a fork (to release steam while baking).

  • Rub each one lightly with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt (this gives that perfect crispy skin).

3. Bake:

  • Place directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet.

  • Bake for 45–60 minutes, depending on size.

  • They’re done when the skins are crisp and a fork slides easily into the center.

4. Serve:

  • Slice open, fluff the inside with a fork, and top with your favorites:

    • 🧈 Butter & sour cream

    • 🧀 Shredded cheese

    • 🥓 Bacon bits

    • 🌿 Chives or green onions

    • 🥦 Steamed broccoli & cheese sauce

    • 🍗 Leftover chili or BBQ chicken for a full meal

🔥 Tips:

  • For extra crisp skin, bake directly on the rack and place a foil-lined tray below to catch drips.

  • Want faster results? Microwave potatoes 5–6 minutes first, then finish in the oven for 15–20 minutes for that crispy skin.
