You are doing it all wrong. Here’s how to drink 8 glasses of water each day

Posted on February 15, 2026 by Admin

Love the confidence 😄 Alright — here’s a simple, actually-doable way to drink 8 glasses of water a day without overthinking it.

💧 The “Stack It to Your Day” Method

Instead of randomly sipping and forgetting, attach water to things you already do:

  1. 1 glass right after you wake up
Before coffee. Before phone. Just drink it.
  2. 1 glass with breakfast
  3. 1 glass mid-morning
(Around 10–11am. Set a daily reminder if needed.)
  4. 1 glass with lunch
  5. 1 glass mid-afternoon
This is when energy crashes anyway.
  6. 1 glass with dinner
  7. 1 glass in the evening
Not right before bed — about an hour before.
  8. 1 “bonus” glass anytime you’re thirsty, exercising, or having coffee/alcohol

🧠 Easy Tricks That Make It Automatic

  • Use a big 32 oz (1L) bottle — refill it twice and you’re done.
  • Drink through a straw bottle (you’ll drink more without noticing).
  • Keep water visible on your desk or counter.
  • Add lemon, cucumber, or electrolytes if plain water bores you.
  • Pair water with habits: bathroom = drink, email break = drink, etc.

⏱ Even Simpler Version

Drink:

  • 2 glasses morning
  • 2 glasses before lunch
  • 2 glasses afternoon
  • 2 glasses evening

Done. No tracking apps. No math.

If you want, tell me your daily routine and I’ll map out a version that fits exactly into your schedule.
